After graduating, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he pursued a career as a first responder. It was in Houston where he discovered his love for acting and made the decision to change careers. Blain is married to Leanne Alexis Blain, and the couple has two dogs together. He is also an active philanthropist, and has been involved in a number of charitable causes.
