A story set in the Tang Dynasty revolving around Luo Qiuchi, who aspires to be a great poet. He entered the Zhu Xiu Academy to further his studies, where he meets the number one student there, Fu Yuanzhi. The two have different poetry styles, but in the end Luo Qiuzi managed to defeat Fu Yuanzhi in a competition with the "Flying Flowers Order" poem. Thus, he was able to lead the other students with a more "simple" poetry style. Through a series of events, Luo Qiuchi and the rest of the students were able to mature. They emerged victorious in the academic exchange between the students of An Nan and Da Tang kingdom. In the end, Luo Qiuchi emerged as the top scholar in the national entrance examinations, thus contributing to the country.

58-year-old Gentaro Ito lives with his wife Chizuru in a house in Tokyo. Each of their three daughters should have left home and lived well. Gentaro worries endlessly about his daughters who are poor judges of character. Completely ignoring their tastes, this stubborn, old-fashioned father suddenly brings a man whom he likes to the house in the middle of the night and introduces him to his daughters. In fact, this man is Yuka's ex-boyfriend. What will the family be like the next day!?

This is a story of a preserved fish called Mr. Salted Fish who lives at a seafood restaurant on an island and makes a living by working multiple part-time jobs. Due to his unique way of dealing with things, he frequently finds himself in a survival crisis. That's why he takes up a lot of different jobs on the island. In this way, Mr. Salted Fish gets to know the islanders, who are strange at first. But once he learns about their stories, they become friends, and even family. This film was shot between 2014 and 2019 in the town of Zhili, a district of Huzhou City in Zhejiang province, China. Zhili is home to over 18,000 privately-run workshops producing children's clothes, mostly for the domestic market, but some also for export. The workshops employ around 300,000 migrant workers, chiefly from the rural provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan and Jiangsu.
